LINKSYS ADMIN IS EASY TO USEWhen it comes to user ease, the Linksys admin process can be an outstanding one. It goes without saying that some people will find it very simply to work through the Linksys router setup process. However, some may need help from time to time. The good news is that Linksys tech support is readily available to you, to help you through the process easily. When you first connect the Linksys wireless router to your Internet connection and then to your computer, you will notice that the setup wizard asks for the model’s administrator code. This code is used to control the system. Each model number, however, has a different code. The code is contained within the documentation that you receive when you purchase the device. You will be prompted to enter the code into the system by the configuration wizard. Should you change the code? You are able to do so if you would like to. It is a good idea to change the administrator code if you fear that someone will try to get into your network or in situations where there will be a lot of interaction between numerous users. The administrator code allows you to get into the control panels of the Linksys router, which then allows you to make decisions regarding how the router is used and what is allowed on the network. For the most part, users will enter this code one time and not have to do anything else with it. However, you do want to keep the code on file for times when you may in fact need to use it.
